The annual Planet Forward Summit is a premier environmental storytelling conference for college students.

Amid the compounding crises of 2021, the Summit convened on the theme: "A New Narrative for our Planet: Urgency, Action, and Inclusion."

It also required some new event production strategies. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Summit went virtual –– creating an opportunity for highly produced, video components to fill the place of live, in-person conversations.

I met the needs of the moment by editing interviews between Planet Forward founder Frank Sesno and climate leaders and communicators, including NBC's Today Show host and weatherman Al Roker and EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan.
